Twenty-one financial advisers managing more than $3.1 billion joined Janney Montgomery Scott during the third quarter, with most of the new arrivals coming from Truist, Wells Fargo Advisors and Merrill Lynch.
Two teams and two solo advisers joined from Truist, Janney said in a release. A duo in Roanoke, Virginia — Tammy Spradlin and Kate Failla — managed $206 million. Advisers Jim Kraft and Lupton Hagler managed $330 million in Morehead City, North Carolina. Solos Christopher Walters, managing $172 million in Roanoke, Virginia; Andrew Ciappa, managing $226 million in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; Robert Cordell, managing $75 million in Washington, D.C.; and Richard Link, managing $297 million in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; also joined the firm.
Eight advisers joined Janney from Wells Fargo Advisers: Michael Graves and Jeffrey Tidwell, who managed $250 million in Ponte Vedra, Florida; Alexander F. Giles III, who managed $121 million in Columbia, South Carolina; and four advisers in Philadelphia — Paul LoFurno, George MacKenzie, Robert Cappelli and David Grahn — who managed $560 million.
The four advisers who came from Merrill Lynch were: Peter Butera, Steven Jordan, Brad Bender and Mandie Hendricks, who managed $575 million in Kingston, Pennsylvania.
Also joining Janney was Dedra Brust, who managed $25 million at Ameriprise in Albany, New York.
