Ready for launch in March, the Galaxy A52 promises to be one of Samsung’s best-selling phones in 2021.
The new Galaxy A model has been the subject of speculation on the stock market for some time, but the exact details have been awaited so far.
Samsung Galaxy A52 is to be launched initially for the Chinese market and soon for global markets. The phone is ready with a better equipped variant, Galaxy A72, both with screens with a refresh rate at 90Hz, offering a good compromise between premium solutions at 120Hz and products of the old generation with screens at 60Hz. However, the chipset used – Snapdragon 750G – leaves a loophole for the use of a 120Hz screen, supported by the phone’s hardware anyway. It is worth mentioning that the phones based on the faster solution, Snapdragon 765G, fail to support speeds of 90-120 fps in Android games, so choosing a screen faster than 90Hz would be a decision made strictly for marketing reasons. .
Samsung Galaxy A52 is expected with a 6.5 inch OLED screen. Depending on the budget, the configuration could have 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128 / 256GB of internal storage. The 4500 mAh battery is not very large, by current standards, but the presence of Quick Charge technology and a 25W AC adapter in the accessory package comes to alleviate the problem of charging the phone more often.
The photo capabilities are given by a 64MP main camera, followed by a 12MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera and 5MP DoF sensor for applying depth effects in portrait photos. The front camera is a 32MP model, more than enough for close-up photos.
