Right now, Call of Duty is found in the post-loot box era, and Infinity Ward and Activision revealed what Season One would bring for its players in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. They moved to the Battle Pass system, imitating some shooter games, including Fortnite. Developers are calling it the most significant free content drop in the history of Call of Duty.
Those players who want to pay in order to get the premium access will see that the 100 tiers of Battle Pass rewards are happening next season, which will start on the 3rd of December.
Everything that’s announced right now is available for free, and some of them will be announced while playing the game. There are also new maps coming to the game, including some from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: Shipment, Crash, and Vacant.

More than that, there are a couple of new weapons and some new Special Ops co-op missions which will soon appear in the game. There is also some new content that will hit the game later in the season, but keep in mind that everything’s coming to all platforms at the same exact time.
