Take Clash of Clans for example which is equipped with so many features that you need at least one week to test them all out. However, there are some features that you need to utilize if you want to play the game properly and when it comes to Clash of Clans, the most important feature is joining clans.

If you are not familiar with how clans work, then you have arrived at the right place. Today we are going to present a simple step-by-step guide that will show you how to join clans and have fun with online friends.

How to Join a Clan

The first thing that we want to mention is that you should ask your real-life friends who are playing Clash of Clans if they can send you an invite to your clan. If you don’t want to join their clans, then you need to follow the steps below.

  1. Open Clash of Clans

Start the game on your Android or iOS powered device. If you already have friends that are listed in a clan, you can use the global chat option to ask them for an invite.

  1. Unlock Clans

What many Clash of Clans fans don’t know when they are still beginners is that they need to unlock the clan feature. This can be done by building the Clan Castle. You will need 10,000 gold coins to build a simple castle and then another 10,000 to transform it into a Clan Castle.

  1. Access the Account Menu

The next step is to access the Account Menu. This can be done by tapping on the blue icon that is located in the upper side of the interface.

  1. Find Your Favorite Clan

After opening the Account Menu, you need to tap on the Clans tab. This tab will show you a list with recommended clans where you can apply for and find new friends. If you want to search for a specific clan, then you can simply enter the name in the search bar and then ask for an invite.
