We all know that the studio had lots of surprises for us at The Game Awards. They have also released a brand new patch for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. The update comes with fixes and tweaks. There is also a brand new way to play on consoles.
The latest update for Fortnite, version 11.30, comes with a split-screen cooperative to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All of the new features will get updates in time, and you will be able to use split-screen in Squads and Duos, too, on the same system.
The ammo indicator has also been changed, and it now comes with better visual representation – in the form of numbers, and not the solid bar that the game used in the past. Other fixes include missing or incomplete textures, which prevented the Social menu from the Friends List to auto-scroll, to increase the daily Item Shop gifting limit, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Fortnite Update Comes With Split-Screen Feature
There’s also a new leak that shows the developer Epic Games taking a look at changing the well-known Battle Pass structure, by giving us an Annual Pass. More on this will be presented at The Game Awards. Is this the “special announcement” they have ready for us?
We are also getting a preview of what’s in the Item Shop, by using your mobile device, with the help of Party Hub. In order to do this, you need to open Party Hub, then tap “Preview Items.” The daily Item Shop gifting limit has been increased, from 3 to 5.
You can also choose when to get from the “Eliminated By” screen to the XP screen. In order to do this, you need to press “Continue” on the “Eliminated By” screen.
