Apple developers had always taken us by surprise with their decisions about iPhone releases. They maintain the speculations high, and our expectations even higher. Due to their strategy to keep hidden how much they can, there is always a rumor, clue, or leak. However, thanks to one analyst, Dan Ives, from Wedbush, we can hope for more significant releases from Apple. Ives’ recent speculation involves quite an intriguing idea. He thinks that Apple will launch four versions of the iPhone 12, not three, as we thought.
Future 5G iPhones
Ming-Chi Kuo’s prediction that Apple developers will make all the future devices with 5G handsets and fitted with the OLED displays panels might be accurate. A popular rumor indicates that the iPhone 12 will come with a screen of 120Hz. Thinking at this, is it possible that the current processor to be enhanced or built on a 5nm technology? Or, will the switch to the USB-C type happen at all? However, two features are rumored to turn out accurate. New iPhone versions will come with a 3D Time of Flight camera and a gesture and motion sensing radar. These features are very similar to those of the Google Pixel 4.
Dan Ives continued with a more complex rumor. The existence of an iPhone SE 2 release in the first quarter of 2020. Now, we can expect not three, but four or five iPhone versions ready to be launched next year.
Moreover, Ives thinks that Apple will reach selling scores of up to 185 million units of iPhones in 2020. This fact came by a market analysis of the current Apple device, the iPhone 11. The device got significant reviews and sold out very good.
