GTA 5 Mod Brings Vice City Map To The Game

Do you know how there’s always one man, one city and one lighthouse? The town looks like one from 2002, put in a modern video game. The perfect example is Vice Cry: Remastered – the mod which takes the GTA’s Vice City map and puts it in GTA 5.

This GTA 5 mod brings Vice City to the game

Is mod has been around for quite some time – years now – but it recently hit version 1.0. It started its life as a makeover mod for the original Vice City. This means that, in theory, it is a better version.

The trailer is everywhere, and it has some confusing features, and remade cutscenes from Vice City’s singleplayer campaign – you can play them in the mod, go around the map and solve some homemade missions. Of course, the game is clearly at its best when you’re roaming around with trucks and drawbridges, enjoying missions, so let’s not worry about that.

The download page talks about a “full port” of the original mod, together with some modern enhancements.

GTA 5 is one of the most successful games ever

GTA 5 is an action-adventure game from 2013, developed and published by Rockstar. It is set in San Andreas, the fictional state, based on Southern California. The game follows three criminals and their efforts to do heists, while they’re under pressure from a government agency, and other powerful crime figures.

The game allows you to roam freely in San Andreas, and in the fictional city of Los Santos, which is based on Los Angeles. GTA 5 can be played either from a first-person and a third-person perspective. You can navigate by foot or by vehicle. You control the three lead protagonists in the singleplayer mode, and you can switch between them during missions, as well as outside missions.
