Instagram is slowly becoming the world’s most popular social media app and this is thanks to the fact that Instagram focuses on sharing pictures and not on religious/political beliefs as Facebook does. Although, this is not the only thing that makes Instagram popular. The developers who are in charge of Instagram are also constantly looking for new ways to improve the overall performances of the social media app and they are doing this by releasing daily updates. With that said, let’s go ahead and check out the latest update for Instagram.
Instagram 126.96.36.199.120 Update
If you enjoy using Instagram, then we have some great news to share with you. The developers have recently released a new update which sports the 188.8.131.52.120 version number and it’s rolling out via official OTA (over the air) channels right now. Therefore, we are advising all Instagram users to keep their smartphones connected to a stable Wi-Fi network in order to access the latest update.
The new update for Instagram doesn’t come with any new features. However, this doesn’t mean that the new update is not a high priority release, quite the opposite. Instead of bringing new features, the update aims to enhance the overall performances of the social media app and it’s doing that by adding a handful of bug fixes and software tweaks.
We also want to mention that Instagram did receive a new feature in a previous update. The developers of Instagram have introduced support for the native Dark Mode that iOS 13 added for iPhones last month. While this might not be a groundbreaking feature by any means, it’s still nice to have because it makes the app easier to use and also lowers the overall battery consumption of the app.
