Marvel fans and gamers, in general, are very excited with the arrival of the Marvel Avengers game for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix are working hard together to bring the game to life, and although there still is pretty much to wait, there are many voices including the guys from Comic-Con which are claiming that it will be the best game from the Marvel Gaming Universe.
Marvel Avengers Release Date
Almost a year is all the developers of Marvel Avengers require from the fans. Even if it sounds like an eternity when you are eager for a specific moment in time, most likely this amount of time will be exploited so that more exciting stuff will be added to the game. Both Marvel and Square Enix confirmed that Marvel Avengers would be released on May 15th, 2020.
The First Look At The Game
Comic-con released a trailer for Marvel Avengers, and we can all agree that it looks fantastic. Just the thought of reuniting all those famous characters in one game, like Iron Man, Thor & co can make any Marvel fan be extremely happy or perhaps even in tears.
Feel free to delight yourselves with the first look at the Marvel Avengers game:
The graphics look beautiful for a 2019 video game, and the violence is there, Thor is having its big hammer held high and so on. But more video material is expected until the release from next year, and Gamescom will be among the ones responsible for providing it.
What’s Missing From Marvel Avengers?
Probably no video game in this world can please everyone, but there are some negative aspects in Marvel Avengers that you might want to consider when evaluating the game. Probably the worst news is that the usual characters are not licensed, so that means no Robert Downey Jr, no Chris Evans, no Chris Hemsworth, no Natasha Romanoff, and no Mark Ruffalo. This is a big surprise for the gamers used to the Marvel series.
Another bad news is that HawkEye and Captain America may most likely be missing from this game. This means a lot for the basic Avengers plot, so fans may not like such move by the developers.
Only time will tell for sure if Marvel Avengers will be a blockbuster or if it’s already overrated. Until we know for sure, keep in mind that you’ll need a very powerful PC to run the game on Windows: GeForce GTX 1070 / Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB with a Core i7-6700K 4-Core 4.0GHz or Ryzen R5 1600 CPU. 16 GB will also be needed to achieve the Marvel’s Avengers recommended specs and get 60FPS.
