HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G, officially announced. Comes with Snapdragon 690 and 90Hz screen

HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G completes the mid-range range of the Taiwanese manufacturer, the new smartphone coming with a generous battery and a balanced package of features.

Expected in stores in Taiwan with a price of $ 430, the device has a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, refresh rate at 90Hz and HDR10 certification.

The design below expectations, given the asking price, has a “chin” quite prominent under the screen and textured finish on the back. Instead, we choose a fairly powerful configuration based on Snapdragon 690, helped with 8GB of RAM. The manufacturer leaves only one option for storage – 128GB, which users can add by adding a microSD card.

The photo configuration is quad-camera, with 48MP main sensor (f / 1.8 aperture) and 8MP ultra-wide camera (f / 2.2 aperture). Two other 2MP sensors each serve the Macro and DoF function. Visible under the perforated screen, the front camera is optimized for close-up photos and has a single 16MP sensor.

The case with a not very flexible construction houses a 5000mAh battery, compatible with Quick Charge 4.0+ technology. But the accessory package only includes an 18W AC adapter, bringing the charging time to just over two hours.

The list of features is completed with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of the case.

Probably in development for a long time, HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G comes only with Android version 10. For now, no information is available on the debut of this model in international markets.
