Viber is a super popular app that excels at making it easier for users to keep in touch with their family members and friends. The way that Viber is doing that is by providing users with access to a plethora of useful features such as the ability to place free audio/video calls, send texts and to also share files. This is why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Viber is used by more than one billion active users every month.
Nonetheless, today we are talking about Viber because the developers who are in charge of the app have just released a new update. The update is rolling out via OTA (over the air) channels and it should pop up in the notifications panel of all Viber users during the upcoming hours. With that said, let’s go ahead and check out what are the “goodies” that the update brings.
Viber 18.104.22.168 Update
The latest trend in the “app world” is the famous Dark Mode. Every popular app is introducing this all-black theme because it makes the user interfaces look sleeker while also making it easier for users to access the apps during night time and avoid hurting their eyes. Therefore, Viber has just received the much-anticipated Dark Mode and the feature can be enabled from the Settings –> Appearance panel.
Improved Group Chats
As if the Dark Mode isn’t amazing enough, the app’s developers have decided to introduce a major feature in the new update that is going to change the way that users communicate with their friends. Viber users can now add a friend to up 10 of their group chats with a single tap. This feature can be enabled by following the next steps: Open any 1-on-1 chats, tap on the chat header and open the Chat Info panel, now simply tap on Add to Groups.
