WhatsApp 2.19.341 Update: You Can Now Unlock the App with Your Fingerprint Sensor

We have all heard of WhatsApp, and we all know what an amazing app it is. First of all, it’s free, and it’s available for Android, and all the other smartphones out there. The app uses your Internet connection when you’re messaging your friends or family. You can send photos, videos, documents, and Voice Messages.

Why is WhatsApp so popular?

There are no fees due to the fact that it uses your internet connection, be it 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi. You won’t have to pay for every message or call. There are also no subscription fees to use the app.

You can send and receive photos, videos, voice messages, and documents. All the calls are free, even if the person is in another country. There are no extra fees for talking to a person who is abroad. You can use the app to avoid SMS charges. The app does not use your cellular plan’s minutes, but data charges may apply. Also, you need to keep in mind that you cannot access 911 or other emergency service numbers through WhatsApp.

There are also group chats with up to 20 persons. If you’re working on your laptop and it is easier for you to talk to your friends directly from Web, then don’t worry, WhatsApp has a Web version, right from the browser.

There are no usernames and no pins. You won’t have to remember passwords anymore. The app also integrates your phone’s existing address book. And the good news is that you’re always logged in, so you won’t miss any message.

So what’s new in the WhatsApp 2.19.341 update?

You can now unlock the app with your fingerprint. In order to do so, you need to go to Settings, to Account, to Privacy, to Fingerprint lock. From there, all you need to do is to enable it. The new WhatsApp 2.19.341 is already available on the Google Play Store.
