Xfinity Rewards: What It Is and How to Redeem It

xfinity rewards - Xfinity Rewards: What It Is and How to Redeem It

Xfinity Rewards no longer exists under that name. Comcast retired it on January 21, 2026 and replaced it with Xfinity membership, a free loyalty program you join automatically when you activate an eligible Xfinity service. There are no points and no enrollment. You redeem perks by signing in to the Xfinity app or customer.xfinity.com/membership.

So if you went looking for an enrollment button, stop. If your account qualifies, you are already a member, and your tier decides which discounts show up.

What replaced Xfinity Rewards, and what changed

The old program asked you to opt in. Membership skips that step: according to Xfinity’s membership FAQ, it starts the day you activate an eligible service and costs nothing.

Benefits fall into three buckets Comcast calls perks, discounts and exclusives. Perks are things like $1 movie rentals and merchandise, discounts cover mobile, streaming and accessories, and exclusives are VIP event access and behind-the-scenes experiences. New perks drop every Thursday.

Redemption has no cap. The FAQ says there are no points to track and no limit on how many available perks you claim, but individual benefits expire, and you cannot return or exchange one once redeemed.

Xfinity membership tiers and what each one adds

Your tier comes from two routes: how long you have had continuous service, or how many eligible services sit on your account. Reaching the threshold on either one qualifies you. This table uses the tier list on the Xfinity membership page as of September 2026.

TierTenureOr servicesDiscounts added at this tier
Silver0 to 1 year1Unlimited mobile line included for 1 year with internet (new Xfinity Mobile members), Universal Parks tickets, Bravo Shop and NBCU discounts
GoldOver 1 to 5 years2Everything in Silver, plus 50% off mobile accessories
PlatinumOver 5 to 10 years3Everything in Gold, plus Peacock Premium at no cost
Diamond10+ years4 or moreEverything in Platinum, plus smartwatch discounts for Xfinity Mobile members

The eligible services are Xfinity Internet, Internet Essentials, Xfinity TV, postpaid NOW TV, Xfinity Mobile, Xfinity Voice, Xfinity Home Security and Xfinity Smart Home. Internet counts on its own, so if you are still deciding on hardware, our guide to picking a WiFi router for your home covers that side.

Watch the fine print on Diamond. The live smartwatch offer is $299.99 in monthly bill credits, requires a 36-month device agreement, and applies only to watches bought by September 30, 2026. Older snippets listing a Gold version are out of date.

How to check eligibility and redeem a perk

  1. Confirm you are the primary user on the account, you are 18 or older, and the account is in good standing. Secondary Xfinity IDs cannot see membership benefits.
  2. Open the Xfinity app, or go to customer.xfinity.com/membership in a browser, and sign in with that primary Xfinity ID. Your tier status and the current perks, discounts and exclusives show up there.
  3. Redeem the benefit you want. For a digital code, go to the partner website and enter it at checkout.
  4. Open My redeemed benefits at customer.xfinity.com/membership/history to see when each claimed perk expires.

The same app handles your home network, which is handy if you also want to change your WiFi name and password while you are signed in. And if a $1 rental keeps stalling because your connection drops mid-stream, work through our fix for a VPN that keeps disconnecting first.

Two rules catch people out. Xfinity Prepaid Internet and bulk accounts paid by a third party do not qualify. And if you cancel, membership stays active for 90 days, then your tier resets to zero.

Xfinity Rewards questions

Do I need to sign up for Xfinity Rewards?

No. Rewards was retired on January 21, 2026. Its replacement, Xfinity membership, is automatic for anyone with an eligible service, with no cost and no enrollment.

What happens to my tier if I move?

Your tier survives the move as long as you reactivate service within 90 days. If you have multiple accounts, Xfinity uses the longest-tenured one to set your tier.

How do I know a sweepstakes win is real?

Xfinity says winners get an email from [email protected] and have 48 hours to accept. It also says membership codes are shared only inside the membership platform, never through surveys or social media.
