How much is Peacock TV? $8.99, $12.99 or $19.99 a month by tier, or $89.99, $129.99 and $199.99 a year. Those are the prices on Peacock’s plans page on 23 September 2026, after the 18 August increase. Every tier carries ads at some level, even the top one.
Peacock’s page pushes Premium Plus and parks the cheapest tier at the far left. Here is what each plan actually includes.

What the $8.99 Select plan leaves out
Select is a TV-shows plan: Law & Order, the Chicago series, The Office, the Real Housewives shows and Yellowstone, with what Peacock calls limited exceptions.
You do not get movies, live sports, WWE or any Peacock Original, so Love Island USA and The Traitors are off the table. Channels are trimmed too: Select shows the TV channels, not movie ones like the Shrek Channel.
If your habit is NBC and Bravo reruns, Select saves you $48 a year against Premium. If you open the app for a Premier League match even once a month, it is the wrong plan.
Premium vs Premium Plus: what the extra $7 buys
Both tiers carry the full catalogue. Premium Plus adds offline downloads and a live feed of your local NBC station, and removes most ads.
The word most matters. Peacock’s footnote keeps ads in channels, in live sports and events, and in a few shows and movies. You still sit through breaks during Sunday Night Football on the $19.99 plan.
Premium carries the same live games, so a failed sign-in on your TV is not a reason to upgrade. The fix is in our guide to NBC Sports on Roku activation.
The August 2026 price increase, old vs new
On 18 August 2026 every plan went up. Select rose from $7.99 to $8.99, Premium from $10.99 to $12.99, and Premium Plus from $16.99 to $19.99. Annual plans rose by $10, $20 and $30.
Monthly subscribers paid the new rate from their first billing date on or after 17 September 2026. Annual and promotional subscribers keep the old price until the plan or offer expires.
Add-ons, bundles and the cheapest way to pay
The NBC Sports add-on is really four Regional Sports Networks: NBC Sports Bay Area, Boston, California and Philadelphia. Each is a monthly add-on on top of any base plan, and Peacock publishes no fixed price for them on its help pages.
You enter a home zip code at purchase, must watch from inside that territory the first time, and can change the zip code only three times in twelve months. In-market blackouts still apply, so a Phillies fan can pay for the add-on and still lose games.
The Apple TV and Peacock bundles also rose on 1 September 2026, to $17.99 with Premium and $22.99 with Premium Plus.
Every annual plan is twelve months for the price of ten, the only discount Peacock offers directly. Pay yearly for Premium and you save $25.89 over twelve monthly bills.

Is there a free Peacock plan?
No. The plans page lists only Select, Premium and Premium Plus, all paid, and shows no free trial.
Can I switch from monthly to annual mid-plan?
Yes. Peacock’s help center says direct-billed subscribers can switch billing from the Subscriptions tab, and the change may wait until your current cycle ends.
Does Premium Plus remove all ads?
No. Ads stay in channels, live sports and events, and a few shows and movies. Premium Plus removes them from most on-demand shows and films.
