At the time of writing, roku.com lists Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Goonies, and Forrest Gump as free. The library rotates constantly, so expect a different lineup when you open the app.
The fastest ways to find free titles on your Roku
Press Home and look for the Free or Featured Free row: thousands of free movies, current-season episodes, and classic shows.

Howdy carries its own library, so treat it as a second service; the free app has no ad-free switch.
Premium Subscriptions and what shows up on your bill
Inside The Roku Channel you can add Premium Subscriptions, paid services layered on the free tier. Roku’s own advice: cancel before a free trial ends to avoid fees.
Charges appear as “Roku for ______” or “The Roku Channel,” and you manage them at my.roku.com under your Roku account, with no separate login.
One catch: Premium Subscriptions are US-only and do not work on Samsung Smart TVs or Fire TV, though The Roku Channel itself runs on both. If Disney+ is billed through Roku, cancel it through Disney+ directly.
