Microsoft Surface Go and Surface Pro X Available with Intel i5 1935G1 Processor and Good Prices

Microsoft has announced a new laptop, Surface Go, and an update for the Surface Pro X. The first model is geared towards a more accessible segment.

Surface Go comes with a 12.4 inch touch display, 3:2 aspect ratio and 1536 x 1024 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Intel i5 1935G1 processor with integrated UHD graphics, 4 or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC memory or 128 or 256GB SSD storage. Includes Dolby stereo speakers, 720p webcam, USB C, USB A, headphone jack and Surface Coonect port.

It is made of aluminum and polycarbonate, and 30% of the used materials are from recycling. It runs Windows 10 Home and costs $550 in the basic version with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC memory. The variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD costs $900.


As for the new Surface Pro X, it brings an ARM processor, a 13-inch touch screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels. At the base it has two custom chips, one Microsoft SQ1 and SQ2 from Qualcomm. For storage, it offers 128GB, 256GB or 512GB on SSD in M.2, 8 or 16GB LPDDR4X RAM format, and the declared autonomy is 15 hours.

It has two cameras, a 5MP front camera with Full HD filming, and a second camera with 4K filming and 10MP resolution. The speakers are stereo with Dolby technology, and on the connectivity side it offers 2 USB C ports, Surface Connect, Gigabit LTE, nanoSIM and eSIM, Bluetooth 5.0.

It is available in 6 configurations and costs from $ 1500.
