Specifications Galaxy S21 – cameras available on each model

What cameras do you get on the Galaxy S21, depending on the chosen model. Complete list with specifications.

Samsung has already confirmed the Galaxy S21 launch event for January 14th. But this detail was already known to fans, successive leaks of information delivering most of the specifications, plus unofficial images with the new Galaxy flagship. However, essential details such as the photo setup are only now known.

Based on the famous Evan Blass, the photo specifications for the Galaxy S21 family are detailed in an infographic addressed to Italian speakers:

Specifications Galaxy S21 – cameras

Although some fans probably hoped for more, the top of the range S21 Ultra retains the 108MP resolution for the main camera. However, Samsung is expected to deliver a next-generation optical sensor, improving aspects such as light sensitivity and overall image quality. The triple-camera configuration also includes an ultra-wide module with 12 MB resolution and a 10MP telephoto camera. At the front, the perforated screen gives way to a 40MP camera, optimized for high-clarity selfie photos.

Less ambitious in terms of specifications, the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus take over the photo configuration with a 12MP main sensor and a telephoto camera that crop the image in zoom mode, using the reserve left by a 64MP sensor. As with its S20 predecessor, the front camera is split between an ultra-wide module with 12MP resolution and a 10MP main camera.

Unfortunately, the quoted source does not detail the photo capabilities, aspects such as the novelties brought in the capture application remaining to be clarified later. However, we find out that the Galaxy S21 phones will be able to shoot in 8K / 30fps mode, switching instantly between the two cameras (front-rear).
