Galaxy S21 has an official launch date
The event is again part of the Galaxy Unpacked series, and the official invitation includes the motto “Welcome to the Everyday Epic”. This may suggest that the new Galaxy S21 will be a smartphone dedicated to more users, not just those who are passionate about the high-end segment, while its capabilities will be at an “epic” level.
In fact, this is what the rumors of the last few weeks suggested. It seems that the Galaxy S21 will no longer be a 100% premium smartphone, as the S20 and S10 models were before it. It could adopt the same Snapdragon and Exynos processors on the higher models, S21 + and S21 Ultra, but it would come with a lower resolution flat screen (Full HD +), as well as a plastic construction on the back. This strategy has already been adopted with limited success on the Galaxy Note20, but the model that proved its success was the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE).
According to the leaks, there will be no major differences in terms of camera between S21 and Galaxy S20 last year, even if the camera module comes with a new design, out of the ordinary. We are dealing with the same 12-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide 12-megapixel camera and finally a 64-megapixel camera, which can shoot in 8K resolution, but which can also zoom 3X using the crop method on the center of the sensor .
But the news will go to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which could become a hybrid between an S model and a Note model. It will receive compatibility with the S-Pen stylus, but will not integrate it in its body and will not be delivered with it.
