The OPPO Find X3 Pro will have a 25X zoom microscope

OPPO also delivers a telemacro camera on the POCO F2 Pro model, but the one included on the Find X3 Pro flagship promises to bring objects posed in macro mode up to 25 times.

While the rest of the smartphone manufacturers treat the macro function as an extra feature to complete the list of specifications, Oppo takes the challenge much more seriously. According to the “specialist” in rumors, Evan Blass, OPPO equips the Find X3 Pro model with a 3MP macro camera and 25X zoom lenses, the company intends to promote it as a “microscope”. It does not provide precise details about the technologies used, but the concept seems to be similar to the 5MP telemacro camera delivered on the Poco F2 Pro model.

In essence, the Poco F2 Pro’s telemacro camera allows users to take pictures in macro mode without getting too close to the subject, thus ensuring that better-lit pictures have a high level of quality. In the case of the OPPO Find X3 Pro, the use of a smaller optical sensor allows the zoom level to be increased to 25X, but at a lower resolution. As for the rest of the photo setup, Oppo has selected a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor for the main camera. There is also a 13MP camera, capable of taking pictures using 2X optical zoom.

Top of the range of the Chinese manufacturer, the phone is based on the Snapdragon 888 chipset and comes with a 6.7-inch OLED screen, supporting a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone has the most powerful SuperVOOC 2.0 implementation, delivering power up to 65W via the USB-C cable. But the 4500mAh battery can be charged in wireless mode at powers up to 30W, using VOOC Air technology.

Expected along with Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Lite models, OPPO Find X3 Pro could be launched in March, equipped with Android 11 version.
