Oppo Find X2 was one of the best performing smartphones of 2020, and new information shows that the successor to Find X3 Pro will continue in the same direction.
It seems that we will have to deal again with a real flagship, with capabilities even over those of other top phones, such as Galaxy Note20 Ultra, or possibly even the following S21 models.
Identified by the code name CPH2173, similar to the CPH2023 formula used with the already launched model, it seems to be the new X3 and not the X3 Pro version, expected with a code ending in the number 5.
What is certain is that we are dealing with a smartpone equipped with Android 11 and Snapdragon 888, the new top of the Qualcomm range, helped with 12GB of RAM.
Indicating the use of a firmware revision very close to the final one, the device obtains Geekbench scores of 1134 and 3660 points (single / multi-core), comparable to the official data communicated by Qualcomm. However, if we take into account previous experiences with the Chinese manufacturer, Oppo will probably continue to optimize the performance offered, trying to position its new flagship above the competition offered by Samsung, or other devices based on SD 888.
Oppo Find X3 is expected with a 6.7 inch AMOLED screen, supporting QHD + resolution and refresh rate at 120Hz.
Oppo could use two 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensors, one for the main camera and one for the ultra-wide camera, along with a 13-megapixel sensor for 2x zoom and a 3-megapixel macro camera with ring-light around the lens. Other important features would be the 4,500 mAh battery, fast charging and 30W VOOC Air wireless charging. Another interesting detail is the use of two NFC modules, one on the front and one on the back, for contactless payments on any side of the phone.
